The Craftsman Marine CM3.27 is an ultra-compact, highly reliable and easy-to-maintain 3-cylinder, 4-stroke marine diesel engine. The block is designed and built by Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi with the aim of achieving a smooth-running and highly durable engine.
The saltwater cooler is a single piece with no welds. This model has multiple kits to facilitate the replacement of engines from other manufacturers and reduce assembly costs by up to 80%. It is also available with other customisations such as filter relocation, bow-mounted saltwater pump, dry exhaust, etc.
With a power output of 27.2 hp at 3600 rpm, a displacement of 952 cc, and a consumption of about 5 L/hour at maximum power.
