The SCAM DIESEL marine engine has been created with careful selection of the base engine "KUBOTA" and our many years of marine engine marinization experience. The new construction achieved:
- greater power
- a bigger torque
- cleaner exhaust gases
The original 3-valve system per cylinder provides cleaner combustion and reduces fuel consumption. Coils coated with Mo S2 give the optimum clearance between the piston and the cylinder.
SCAM DIESEL marine engines are designed to require minimal and simple maintenance. All the regular maintenance items are available. Indirect cooling system with water and oil heat exchangers maintains optimum operating temperature, thus extending the life of the engine itself.
The new fuel injection system guarantees lower fuel consumption and a cleaner ecological combustion. All engines are standard equipped with the required electrical installation as well as the engine monitoring plate and the electrical stop command. All the motors are fitted with elastic supports, single-handed coupling brackets, oil cooler and oil pump. Cooling compressor connection, and hydraulic pump pickup.
